I’m Catrìona Black, and I love to tell stories. My career has covered many bases, but communication has always been at the heart of everything I do. From journalism, politics and PR to printmaking; from broadcast animation to published picture books and copyediting, it’s all about making people look and listen, and love what they hear.

I was born in Scotland, brought up speaking English and Gaelic, and dragged away from my home country kicking and screaming in 2011, when my husband got a job in Amsterdam. Turns out I like it here and am now reluctant to leave.  We have two children who are, naturally, the best human beings in the whole wide world.
